Andrew Mania: Gogolin

Andrew Mania is an artist who lives and works in Bristol and has exhibited at Milton Keynes Gallery, Vilma Gold Gallery, London, Jerwood Gallery, London as was included in New Contemporaries in 2000. Mania is like a collector of curiosities, or a cultural vagrant. The artist sometimes recycles found images like old master drawings or photographs and then adds his own obsessions or dialogues such as Yeti’s, UFOs or birdlike swarms. The artist recently completed his first moving image project Moving Stills that was supported through the Small Wonders Scheme.
