John Wood and Paul Harrison

From One Thing to Another brings together newly commissioned video works by John Wood and Paul Harrison in a dynamic installation at Picture This' Atelier space in Bristol, 19 January – 23 February.

From One Thing to Another comprises seven new works, all made in 2007 and presented in the UK for the first time. The exhibition showcases 3 works; Night and Day, Fan/paper/fan and Mic/amp all commissioned by Capture5, CAPTURE's commissioning fund and produced in association with Picture This. Whilst continuing the artists' ongoing investigations into architecture, performance, drawing, sculpture and film, these works suggest a range of new developments in both formal and conceptual terms.

John Wood and Paul Harrison have worked together since 1993, producing video works for single screen and installation. They have exhibited widely in Europe and North America and have works in the permanent collections of Tate, London; MOMA, New York and Centre Pompidou, Paris. They are currently working towards solo shows at Lowry, Manchester (April 2008), Museum of Contemporary Art, Houston, Texas USA (2009) and High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia USA (2009).
