Commotion on Tour
Over the past three years
Picture This has worked in partnership with Arnolfini and guest
curators to develop Commotion – a series of themed programmes of
artist's moving image works. Commotion has established a reputation
for bringing audiences together to view and discuss curatorially
rigorous programmes of work by national and international contemporary
artists.
Six invited curators have
devised a programme of work for touring. Each of the carefully researched
projects explores a pertinent theoretical issue or creative genre
through the presentation of artists' films together with talks and
essays by artists, curators or academics.
