Mariele Neudecker

Mariele Neudecker's work centres on the tensions between representations of the sublime landscape and our perception and memory of experience.

Picture This have worked regularly with Mariele on a variety of Picture This projects including production of two monographic In Profile DVD publications and the Kindertotenleider commission and exhibitions. Picture This have also worked with Mariele through our services to support other film based including editing and encoding work and the installation of a commission for Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery.

She has had solo exhibitions at IKON Gallery,Birmingham; Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin; Tate St. Ives and Tate Britain, London.

Her work has been purchased by Saatchi Collection, London; The Arts Council Collection, London; The British Council Collection, London; The Government Art Collection, London and various private collections.

Mariele Neudecker is represented by Galerie Barbara Thumm, Berlin, Germany.
